Sesame is a rich source of lignans, these are sesamin and sesamol.
These lignin’s are affective in against cancer, preventing oxidation of LDL cholesterol, helping immune system…

On the other hand there a several essential minerals are in sesame such as calcium , magnesium, ferrum, zinc and specially high in vitamin B1.

High in calorie too, so need to be careful in consumption.
