Olive oil production increases

Olive tree planting is growing in Turkiye year by year.
It is estimated in next 5 year, Turkiye will be 3rd large producer of olive oils worldwide.

 

Turkiye has nearly 175mil olive tree and it is now 5th in world. Olive oil production is nearly 180K tons upto 200K tons per year. 2018-19 season production is going to be around 250K tons which is big crop-production season.

World olive tree planting is around 900mil.

Main producing countries are Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkiye and Tunisia.
